A Busy Friday!
Congratulations are extended to Mr. Stephen Frederick. His peers chose Mr. Frederick as the Norwayne Middle School Teacher of the Year for 2005! Mr. Frederick is one of those individuals who make everyone want to do more. His energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Mr. Frederick stays after school every Thursday to do tutoring and has spent this last year as the TIF at NMS. Mr. Frederick is indeed a worthy gentleman, and we as a staff are proud to recognize him.
What a great day today has been. We were entertained by the band performance this morning. Today just happens to be Mr. Wooten’s birthday, so that made it even more special. Can you imagine being serenaded by a thousand middle schoolers? The All-Star band students played a BIG part in the production once again and we are extremely proud of their successes.
Another success story was announced this morning. Meagan W. was chosen for the Superintendent’s Choice Award for her artistic endeavors. Meagan is a super hard working young lady with some incredible talent and we were proud to be able to bask in the glory of her accomplishment today.

Mr. Frederick is a nice teacher. Last year when I was in his class he was so funny when playing around with Mrs. Darden. The most funny thing was throwing sock's and snake skins at each other. We had team time 2-3 times a month. It was really fun!

I loved the band and there was one song that really got my attention but I don't remember the name.

I liked the show the band students put on for us that was nice but I'm not a big fan of slow band music so it was boring in my point of view.

I hope you liked when we played at the concert. I thought you were going to be teacher of the year until she got to the part about being married. You will get it next year because I know that you are better than him at teaching.
