Field Trip Info
Today was an unacceptable day to say the least. I wrote ten After School Detention notices because students are not doing their part. I really need your help with this. The same ones who are not passing on their Progress Reports are the ones who did not have their assignments today. I know this concerns the parents, because it concerns me. I will be assigning more after school detentions for students in both groups as a way to get homework assignments turned in. Poor grades do not seem to be affecting the students so I will try more punitive actions.
On a more positive note, tomorrow we will enjoy a pizza party from Brooklyn Pizzeria in Goldsboro. The cost is $3.00 and the kids need to bring in a drink to have with their lunch. Brooklyn’s has always been a strong supporter and we appreciate their help with this.
We also sent home some information about our fall semester field trip to Exploris to see The Polar Express, and the Kanki. The permission slip is linked at the bottom of this blog.

This time between Thanksgiving and Christmas will be hectic and busy. We all have to work a little harder to make sure the kids do not get behind academically. Best wishes!

Me and my mom are ready to go to the Exloris to see all the hands on stuff. My mom has eat at the Kanki before. I have read the book The Polar Express I am ready to see the movie now.

Hey Mr. Person! I am so excited about going on the field trip! I am looking forward to doing a lot of Christmas shopping. I will make sure to get you something with NC State on it.

I am also excited about going to see the Polar Express. My brother went to see it on a field trip and when he came home he was reciting parts of the movie to me. I think he really enjoyed it. I think that I, along with the rest of the class will enjoy it to.

I am looking forward to the feildtrip! Although I have already seen the polar express i am looking forward to seeing it. I am looking forward to ging to the Japanese resturant(Kanki).

Please torture my mom all you want! she is so happy to be coming with all of us on the feildtrip, oh when she is like this watch out for her she is sooo scarry like this.She said"she does not bite......much"!

I think the field trip is going to be fun like watching the chefs cook the food you order and watching the Polar Express on a 70 foot screen.

I think that it's cool that we get to go on a feld trip about the stuff we are learning in all of our classes such as social studies, sience, and literature. I can't wait until Dec.15!

In my opinion I think it is nessesary to have a quiz so that we may learn more about what they experienced and what they saw on the trip. YEAH RIGHT!!

I can't wait till we go on the field trip Mr. Person because it is going to be lots of fun to me. I want to see The Polar Express in 3-D because that is awesome. I especially want to go to the mall so I can get something for my mom for Christmas. Thanks for letting us go on a Charter bus and see Shrek 2 on the bus. Thank you for letting us go period Mr.P
