Mrs. Gwen Winston
Today Heaven is a little better off because one of His true and loyal sheep has gone home to join the flock.
Mrs. Gwen Winston spent her earthly life providing children with the opprotunity to better themselves through the pursuit of a quality education. Her pleasant personality made every day at Norwayne Middle School a little better and her soothing words of encouragement made everyone who worked along side her feel the better for it. She brought out the best in those she mentored and pursued her leadership role as an equal stake holder in the group's desired outcome.
She was a leader, a friend, and most of all an educator - she will be missed by those that were blessed to work with her and those children who she worked so diligently for.
God Bless Mrs. Winston, her family, friends, and all those she affected.

Mrs Winston was the best principal at norwayne she always heard everyones side of the story and she tried real hard to make sure everything got done like the rest and she effected everyone around her and i know im goin to miss her

IM gonna miss u Ms. Winston..cause u understood me and did everything u could to not get me in trouble..if i got sent to ur office...u didnt put me into much trouble because u cared how us kids felt and ull be missed by me and by ALL of the students at NORWAYNE MIDDLE SCHOOL..we love u and miss you

Im gonna miss u Mrs.Winston!!!U were such a sweet lady and thanx 4 helping me on the bus when I needed it!!!U really caerd alot about us students at NMS!!we will miss u Mrs.Winston!!!we luv u and miss u!!

I think that when Mrs. Gwen Winston it was very sad because she really assisted us with our work and when I heard from my freind I thought that it was very very sad for her to pass away. I hope that she knows that we down here at Norwayne are ok!!!
